Www.onlinetravelvietnam.com: US hotel operator Marriott International, Inc will manage a four-star hotel in Binh Thuan Province under its Courtyard brand which targets business travelers.
It signed a deal Wednesday with Saigon – Ham Tan Tourism Corporation which is building the 200-room Courtyard Hotel as part of a US$150 million, 200-hectare ecotourism complex in the south-central coastal province.
The complex also has a resort, an 18-hole golf course, a reservoir, a yacht club, more than 300 luxury villas, a camping site, shopping and other services, and a 50-hectare forest.
It is scheduled for completion by 2012.
Marriott manages more than 3,400 hotels in 68 countries and territories, including two properties, the Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon and the New World Hotel Saigon, in Ho Chi Minh City.
It is also set to operate three other hotels that are under construction in Hanoi and the central cities of Danang and Nha Trang.
