While everyone who visits Ha Long Bay is charmed by the archipelago's beauty, few visitors are aware that the 3,000 islands that dot the bay are home to many rare plants, including species found nowhere else in the world. We chose our boat's name - Ha Long Ginger - because, like the plant it was named after, our junk is perfectly suited to this environment. Day 1 : Hanoi - Halong bay - Halong Ginger Cruise ( Lunch / Dinner )

08h30 - 12h30 : Pickup by private car at your hotel about 8.30. Spend 3 hour sight seeing country Vietnam o n the way to Halong city. Arrive at Pier just before

12h00 AM. Welcome by Ginger staff and embark with the shuttle boat for short transfer (approximately 5 minutes) to the Ginger. Welcome drink is served.

13h00 - 18h00 : Enjoy lunch o n board while the Ginger cruise Cruise to Bai Tu Long Bay, passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth.

After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with Halong Ginger golden sails, go swimming o n a quite beach at Soi Sim Island or sunbathing o n the sundeck.

At sunset time, kayak or simply take a bamboo row boat to discover Hang Doi with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Later afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village.

18h30 - 21h00 : Back o n board Halong Ginger, enjoy cocktails while watching sunset and later unwind at Ginger restaurant.

Day 2 : Ginger Cruise - Halong Bay - Hanoi ( Brunch )

06h30 : Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. Coffee or tea is served.

08h00 - 09h00 : Visit beautiful limestone Sung Sot grotto.

09h00 - 11h00 : Buffet brunch is served while enjoy last glimpse of the Halong Bay.

11h30 o nward : Time to say good bye to Halong and back to Hanoi.

12h00 : Disembark the junk. Return to Hanoi. The trip concludes at your hotel in Hanoi arounf 16h00 PM. End of services.

After breakfast, transfer to your day – trip boat with private crew and cruise to the bay’s most untouched areas. Enjoy swimming o n quiet beaches, visiting water tunnels, fishing villages or kayaking. Lunch served o n board by your private chef. Return to the mother boat for the night.

Day 3 : Ginger Cruise - Halong Bay - Hanoi ( Brunch )

Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock.

12h00 : Disembark the junk. Return to Hanoi. The trip concludes at your hotel in Hanoi arounf16h00 PM. End of services.

Ginger Boat Information

Introduction : Measuring 38 meters (125 feet) long and 8 meters (23 feet) wide, our custom-built wooden junk features three decks, all fitted out with elegant Asian inspired decor. The lower deck is devoted to Passenger Cabins, with sleeping space for 20 people. The Reception, Restaurant, Ginger Bar, Gift Shop and Library are all located on the main deck. On the top deck passengers will find the Sunset Bar and a spacious lounge area, perfect for our morning Tai Chi classes, weekend BBQs and sunset cocktails. Guests are welcome to make use of our binoculars, snorkeling equipment, and top-of-the-line Canadian-made seaward kayaks.

Accomodation : While the view is undoubtedly the best feature of each of our ten guest cabins, you will also appreciate the tasteful décor and furnishings. To complement the bay's natural beauty we have fitted out the cabins in natural materials: wooden floors covered with sedge mats; walls with woven bamboo panels; and bamboo-paneled ceilings decorated with a hand-painted Ginger motif. The standing shower features mosaic tiles in Ginger flower patterns.

Dining : Ginger Restaurant: A pleasant ambiance, attentive staff and great views make our restaurant the perfect place to sample the exotic delights of Vietnamese cuisine. Guests can look forward to lavish international breakfast buffets, casual, sit-down lunches of Vietnamese dishes, and formal dinners with delectable fusion cuisine. All dishes are prepared to please both the eye and the palate. Special BBQ dinners are served on the Sundeck on weekends, or upon a group's requestuest.

Sundeck: With its comfortable lounge chairs, fresh breeze and dazzling views, the Sundeck invites guests to lie back and relax. Featuring an impressive range of cocktails and an easy, relaxed ambiance, the Sunset Bar is a delightful place to socialize and watch the sun sink behind the bay's myriad islands.

Ginger bar & Lounge: Located in the Restaurant, this cozy bar features silk chairs and embroidered décor. A wide variety of wines and cocktails is available.

The Massage Room: Infused with the scents of lemongrass and fresh herbs, the bay view massage room provides the ultimate escape, allowing guests to enjoy a traditional Vietnamese massage in the beautiful surroundings of Ha Long Bay
