DETAILED ITINERARY.

Welcome to Laos. Short city tour to stupa and pagoda. Enjoy the sunset on Mekong river. Overnight in Luang Prabang. 

Cruise along the Mekong River to Pakou cave with some stops at villages. Overnight in Luang Prabang. 

Visit morning market before heading to visit  local villages of Lao ethnic minority and to the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall. Overnight in Luang Prabang.  

Short visit to national Museum and Royal Place ( if time permits ) and flight to Hanoi. Welcome to Vietnam! City tour to Old quarter, the Sword Lake, cyclo around the town and water puppetry performance. Overnight in Hanoi. 

Early depart for Halong Bay, a World Heritage as designated by UNESCO in 1994, take a boat trip for about 5 hours to cruise Halong bay. Lunch of fresh seafood  Late afternoon back to Hanoi for  a night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on the Train.  

Whole day in Sapa mountain town, visit hill tribal villages. Overnight in Sapa.  

Today should be Saturday, Sunday or Tuesday. Enjoy the most exciting weekly market of the hill tribes living surrounding Sapa. Alternatives are Can Cau market on Saturday, Bac Ha market on Sunday or Coc Ly market on Tuesday, take a boat on Chay river (during Coc Ly market only). Take the night Train to Hanoi and overnight on the Train. (Lunch at the market; dinner in Laocai).

Arrive Hanoi. Have a circle surrounding Hoan Kiem Lake to watch the morning exercises of the Hanoians. Visit the Mausoleum and House of Ho Chi Minh and flight to Saigon. Saigon short city tour with Reunification Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Post Office, China Town with “Cho Lon” (Big market) and Thien Hau Temple of the Chinese community. Overnight in Saigon. 

Visit to Tay Ninh, the center of Dadaism and Cu Chi Tunnels, one of the few remaining monuments to the fierce Vietnam War, chance to experience the real life of the Vietnamese guerrillas. Overnight in Saigon. 

At leisure and flight to Siem Reap. Short excursion to Angkor Thom and Bayon temple, the must to see in Cambodia. Overnight in Siem Reap. 

Whole day discover the real Angkor with many temples inside the jungles. Overnight in Siem Reap.  

Explore the un-touched corners of Angkor. Overnight in Siem Reap.  

Free at leisure and transfer to the airport for your departure flight
