Bac Kan Province

Bac Kan Province is a mountainous province, sharing its border with Cao Bang Province to the north, Tuyen Quang Province to the west, Lang Son Province to the south-east, andThai Nguyen Province to the south. The topography is mainly midland, mountainous. The province has a complex network of rivers and springs.

Cao Bang Province

Cao Bang Province is located in the Far North - East, shares borders with China on the north and east, Bac Kan province andLang Son province on the south, and Ha Giang province and Tuyen Quang province on the west. The topography is complicated so inter-transportation is limited.

Lang Son Province

Lang Son Province is a frontier mountainous province in the North-East of Vietnam. It shares border with Cao Bang province on the south, Bac Giang province on the north, Guangxi (China) on the east,Quang Ninh province on the north-east and Bac Kan province, Thai Nguyen province on the west.

Thai Nguyen Province

Situated in Far North - East Vietnam, Thai Nguyen Province is surrounded by Bac Kan Province on the north, Tuyen Quang Province and Vinh Phuc Province on the west, Lang Son Province andBac Giang province on the east, and Hanoi on the south.

Son La Province

Son La Province belongs to North-West Vietnam, shares border withYen Bai Province, Lao Cai Province, Lai Chau provinces on the north,Dien Bien Province on the west, Phu Tho Province and Hoa Binh provinces on the east and Laos on the south.

Yen Bai Province

Situated on the gateway to North-West Vietnam, Yen Bai Province borders Lao Cai, Ha Giang in the north, Son La Province in the west, Tuyen Quang in the east, and Phu Tho in the south.
Terrain includes mountain, hill and valley. The network of rivers is complex with many falls and waterfalls. Climate in lowland is different from highland. Annual average temperature is from 18ºC to 28ºC.

Tuyen Quang Province

Situated on Far-North East, Tuyen Quang Province is surrounded byHa Giang Province, Cao Bang Province, Yen Bai Province, Bac Kan Province, Thai Nguyen Province, Phu Tho Province, Vinh Phuc provinces. Mountains occupy almost area of province. The province has natural potentiality of primitive forest and mineral. The main rivers are Lo and Gam. Influenced by tropical climate, the summer is very hot. There are two seasons: dry and rainy. Annual average temperature is 24oC

Dien Bien Phu Province

Dien Bien Phu Province is on the North - West Vietnam. It is next toLai Chau Province, Son La province, Laos and China. The province has many mountains stretching along north-west and south-east direction. Muong Thanh Valley is largest one of this region. The topography includes forests, high mountains, narrow valleys, small plains, and springs.

Lai Chau province

Lai Chau Province is situated on high mountainous region in the North West of Vietnam, northern of Da River. Its neighbors are Yunna (China) on the north, Laos on the west, Lao Cai Province on the north-east, Dien Bien province, Son La province on the south.

Lao Cai Province

Located in North-West Vietnam, Lao Cai province is surrounded by Yunna (China) on the north, Lai Chau Province on the west, Ha Giang Province on the east and Yen Bai province, Son La province on the south.

Ha Giang Province

Located at the highest latitude in Vietnam, Ha Giang province is surrounded by Cao Bang province on the east, Tuyen Quang province on the south, Lao Cai province, and Yen Bai province on the west. It shares a border with China in the north (274km boundary).
